In the spring I have scanned my collection. The Fliess (again after a few weeks away) to the rear wheels to protect the cacti from burns. In the course of the year on the front page was still a shelf added, because the space was no longer sufficient.

Today I will present a few blooming Thelocacteen. You are in my top shelf, so they get full sun. All Thelocacteen require a porous mineral substrate, somewhat sensitive to moisture, water, therefore, only moderate (beet root), absolutely, dry and cool winter at about 6-10 ° C.

The cacti in 2010 (I)

Bei entsprechender Haltung (kühle und trockene Überwinterung) they are not to prevent blooming. Some members of this genus are also in my collection.

For THE Guppy new acquisition I set up a new 100l tank. But that should be more difficult than expected. After about two weeks I was in the pool an algae bloom that I have not eliminated until today. All took over 30 years experience in Aqarianertätigkeit me nothing. I tackle the problem, but crystal clear water is still far off. So it is said to be patient. Here is a picture before the accident.
